Nicole and BreAna’s love story began on June 19, 2019, in an unexpected yet fateful way. BreAna was chatting with her bro on the couch when he said, “I’m going to FaceTime my sister.” BreAna knew Nicole had a crush on her, but she didn’t anticipate what would unfold. When Nicole answered the call, her smile had a profound effect on BreAna, making her feel as if time had stopped. From that moment, BreAna knew this was something special and that Nicole deserved to be cherished.

Their journey together has been anything but conventional, but it’s become their favorite story. They built a strong friendship first, which became the foundation for their relationship. Nicole, who lived in Charlotte, and BreAna, based in Atlanta, made the most of Nicole’s work trips to Atlanta, finding time for dates and quality moments.

The onset of the Covid-19 pandemic brought them even closer. Nicole's diagnosis of thyroid cancer was a challenging time for both. BreAna stepped up as a supportive friend, never missing a doctor’s appointment and being present for Nicole during her surgery and recovery. Despite her own struggles, Nicole organized an epic 30th birthday party for BreAna in Miami, where Nicole met BreAna’s closest family and friends as her “lady friend.”

On June 3, 2020, while watching an episode of "Insecure" on FaceTime, BreAna asked Nicole to be her girlfriend. The joy they felt was immense, and even after four years, they still express how fortunate they are to have each other.

A week later, Nicole moved to Atlanta to be closer to her family and support her mother while her father battled congestive heart failure. During a two-week road trip over the 4th of July, they discovered their shared tastes in music and the strength of their bond, realizing they were meant to be together. Their relationship flourished as they had fun and enjoyed each other’s company.

June 19, 2021, marked a difficult year with the loss of Nicole’s father, Frank White, and the passing of several of BreAna’s family members. Despite the hardship, Nicole and BreAna leaned on each other for support and grace. In September 2021, they purchased their first home together, marking the beginning of their journey as a combined family.

On December 31, 2023, BreAna proposed to Nicole at Zoo Atlanta in front of the Elephant exhibit, surrounded by friends and family. It was a joyful and unforgettable proposal, symbolizing the deep love they share. They immediately began planning their wedding, looking forward to their future together.
